Mr. Jose is a 31 year veteran of the Martial Arts and currently holds a 5th Dan in Tang Soo Do. Mr Jose has studied under renown masters, such as Master Marco Sies (7 time full contact light weight world champion) Master Jeff Smith (7 time world light heavy weight champion) Master Arlene Limas (1988 gold metal winner in the 24th Olympic games Seoul, Korea) and Master Elsa Cordero (7 time national forms competition champion)

Mr. Jose has studied several systems over the years such as Tae Kown Do, Shotokan Karate, Hung Gar Kung Fu, Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan and Tang Soo Do. He is currently studying the Korean style of Kum Ye Do (the way of the art of the sword) Mr. Jose is proud to have served in the U.S. Army and is currently pursuing education with Nesta (National Network for Children and Families) and The Spencer Institute for Life coaching, wellness and stress management. Mr. Jose has completed the Redirecting Children’s Behavior Course” He believes in making every student better in every way for the challenges life brings. His goal is to make Lion’s Den Karate a place for more than just kicking and punching. He believes in, “It takes a village to raise a child”.
